Member of the Limpkin Family~true bird fact~ The Limpkin is the only member of his family. In laymans terms, he's not closely related to any other birds. Speculation is that he branched off, evolutionarily, because his diet was so heavily made up of Apple Snails. Loves them Apple Snails.
